This Privacy Policy explains how Emora ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

  • Mood entries, notes, tags, and self-reported emotional states.
  • App preferences such as themes, reminders, and settings.
  • Health and wellness data only when you explicitly grant permission through Apple HealthKit.
  • Limited purchase-related information to verify subscriptions and provide premium features.
  • Technical and diagnostic information required for app functionality and improvement.

2. HealthKit Data

If you choose to connect Apple HealthKit, Emora may read selected health and activity data such as steps, sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, or similar wellness indicators, depending on the permissions you approve.

HealthKit data is used only to provide mood and wellness insights inside the App. We do not sell HealthKit data. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or third-party profiling.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide mood tracking and wellness insights.
  • Show trends, summaries, and analytics.
  • Verify subscriptions and premium access.
  • Improve app stability and user experience.
  • Respond to support requests.

4. Data Storage

Wherever possible, user data is stored locally on the device. If cloud sync or server-based functionality is introduced in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

5. Third-Party Services

Emora may use trusted third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, subscriptions, hosting, or app functionality.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information may only be shared when required by law, necessary for app functionality, or required to protect users and services.

7. Account Deletion

Emora includes an in-app account deletion option. You can delete your account from the App by opening Settings, choosing My Profile, and then choosing Delete Account.

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account, except where we are required or permitted to retain limited information for legal, security, fraud prevention, or transaction record purposes.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no electronic transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security.
